I love this time of year, the autumn colours and smells, summer behind us and the promise of that wonderful winter light and of course winter walks. I also like boxing day.... just because that day means christmust is finally over... hooray hoorah!
Well today and all this week is boxing day as we are finally moving to our new home this week. The builders have gone and we have our house back at long last. The various builders, electricians, plumbers and chimney sweeps etc. that we have met over the last few months, have all been very friendly and good at their jobs but they all have one annoying thing in common..... dust dust dust!
Will have to find my decorating head again... can’t wait. Over the past four years we have been both tenants and landlords so we can’t wait to be owner occupiers once again.
Anyway, if you live with a cat and you put an empty box down with the intention of filling it with books...........
